NoFollow

As you might be aware, Wordpress comes complete with the ‘nofollow’ attribute as standard. I’m not a great fan of it, but I do see the point of using it short-term. In other words, any comments/trackback pings received at this blog will use the ‘nofollow’ attribute for 7 days. Why? Because that’s the longest its ever likely to take me to find and remove a spam comment/ping. After the comment/ping has been on the site 7 days, the dofollow Wordpress plugin I just activated will remove the ‘nofollow’ attribute from the link (ie enabling the link to affect your site’s search engine rankings).
