Earlier on I had a good look at the ‘preview tour’ of the new version of OS X, and man does that look like a sweet operating system. Sure, none of your Doze games will work on it, but when you can get the following for Mac OS they should lessen the blow somewhat (bearing in mind that a Mac can be much better for other tasks such as graphics editing and a computer that doesn’t crash):
- Call of Duty (and the ET-esque addon pack which kicks ass online)
- UT2004
- Battlefield 1942
The list goes on, but the only really significant PC game that’s missing from the list is Half Life 2, and if you buy a mac then you probably want to keep it spyware-free anyway.
