Run away!

Now that the EU constitution has been rejected by two founder members of the organisation- the French (who wrote the damn thing) and the Dutch (who are generally more pro-European than most), our wonderful Blairite government has the excuse it was looking for to avoid humiliation at the hands of the British people.

As well as the fact that most Britons want to keep control of this country’s laws in… well… this country, many people would use it (more so than the general election) to vote against Tony Blair and every screwed up, discriminatory policy he stands for. Jacques Santer, ex-President of the European Commission, says that Britain should still hold its referendum. We can but hope- it’ll be my only chance to vote against Blair since he’s going before the end of this Parliament.
