VE Day marked the end of war in Europe, but it is all to easy to forget that, even as the VE Day celebrations began, millions were still fighting for their lives in the Far East. Today is the 60th anniversary celebration of VJ Day, which marks the final end of a war which claimed over 50 million lives. We all owe our lives and freedom to those who gave theirs.
