Like Robertson, I am no great admirer of feminists (for the same reason that I am against so-called 'affirmative action', because I think discrimination is wrong) but 'kill their children, practice witchcraft, destroy capitalism and become lesbians'? Please!

As for Chavez, Venezuela is among the 'democratic nations of the world' as he won the democratic 1998 presidential election, subsequently re-elected in 2000 and then won a recall vote which was started by the opposition. In other words, his democratic credentials are better than George Bush's (since Gore got more votes in Florida and was therefore the legitimate winner in 2000, but Daddy's Buddies appointed the miserable failure to the presidency). I would appreciate it if you could kindly point to evidence of his threatening any other country (I hardly think criticising the illegal invasion of Iraq, or deciding to buy his weapons from Brazil instead of the USA constitutes justification for invading his country and overthrowing him [which is the only way an American can 'impeach' him and therefore I assume is what you mean]).

WRT his comments about Scotland, I would prepare to accept your arguments if Mr Robertson had subsequently issued an apology or retraction - the fact that he has not even after a significant length of time indicates that he meant them at the time and still means them now.

Well, I agree with Bro. Robertson on many of his stances, although I wish to say that I don't regarding Hugo Chavez, the Socialist Progressive Leftist of Venezuela. Chavez, though he doesn't need to be killed, should be impeached. He has imposed hostile sentiment regarding the United States, and other Democratic nations of the world. He is a Marxist, and if we do not keep him under close watch, there is no telling what he would do.

Like Robertson, I don't believe feminists should be looked upon in a great light. I think that they are sexist, and Pro-Choice idiots who are worrying about something that has fallen into obscurity a long time ago.

You took his comment on Scotland out of context. He didn't mean it to be literally, a 'dark land of homosexuals' but just that they are too tolerant of homosexuals. The truth is, he, like myself, is a Fundamentalist and gay rights infuriates him. Fundamentalists are known to explode when they hear something that makes them fiery, and this, being one of these issues, topped him off, and he commented without thinking of the possible results of his remarks. I have done it too, and even I am sure even Liberal people have done it. But taking a comment out of context is irresponsible, almost as irresponsible as these controversial comments themselves.

I left you a link to my weblog, but my website can be viewed at http://users.cjb.net/ack. Thank you.
