Merry Christmas
Since I’ll probably be unavailable for much of the day (due to having better things to do :P) I’ll wish you a Merry Christmas just now. You’ll notice though that I said ‘Christmas’ – not Festive Season, Winter Fest, ‘Happy Holidays’ or any other such politically correct secularist hijacking of this Christian festival. That said, I hope you’re enjoying yourself regardless of which religion you belong to. I also hope that this has actually appeared at the right time (1 minute past midnight British time, or as soon afterwards as the server can manage), since Wordpress’ post-to-future facility has always been iffy (I’m writing this at ten to five on Christmas Eve).

“I have to agree with you on gun rights - here in the UK our government (acting on a petition signed by 705,000 people, or about 1.2% of the population) banned guns about a decade ago and since then gun crime has TRIPLED. Oh yeah, and Scotland is now officially the violent crime capital of the developed world (according to a UN report)”
Thank you for all of your feedback. I really had my hands full with all of the comments that were posted. Are you serious? I didn’t know it TRIPLED! But I did know that in the United Kingdom, guns were not allowed or something. If you wish you can contact my by email (kinney.aaron@gmail.com). Thanks again. Merry belated Christmas, and a happy New Year!

Apologies - I got my facts mixed up. It’s crime involving imitation guns that has tripled, crime involving REAL guns has only DOUBLED. My mistake, although it’s still a pretty shocking statistic

Yes, lol, I agree. But it *is* nevertheless shocking, as you put it. I really don’t care about imitation guns, I had my share of them when I was a younger kid. They provided me many hours of recreation, and I didn’t kill anyone.
