Footer squint

Tuesday, January 17th, 2006

Internet Explorer users may notice that the footer is slightly squint. This is due to Internet Explorer not supporting CSS properly (yes, even though its nearly a decade since it was made a web standard) and the reluctance of the Wordpress team to fix this bug (well, when you see the amount of bugs they didn’t fix before the release of 2.0 it is really no surprise!).

Templates etc. will be done over the next few days.

Feeds fixed

Sunday, January 15th, 2006

Apologies to anyone who subscribed using the old feed URLs – I just checked my logs today and noticed that a few people were still trying to access /?feed=rss2 . Needless to say I’ve written the appropriate RedirectPermanent code to ensure that your feed reader will automatically fetch the new url.

Server ‘upgrade’ rescheduled

Sunday, January 15th, 2006

Apparently the server ‘upgrade’ that was supposed to be done yesterday morning has been ‘rescheduled’ for 1am this morning. In other words, they screwed it up the first time. Expect a great deal of downtime and slowness. Grr.
