		<description>I'm of the mind that it should be kept, but go to the universities and not go into the big piggy bank that funds the student grants.

The grant system in this country is broken. Totally broken. Ive got around 12K of student debt, and recieved about 2K of hardship funding on top of that. I also worked every single summer, and through some terms. I never got awarded a student grant, whilst folk I knew got the full whack. It seems all you need these days to get 3-4K of free money a year is to have separated parents, regardless of other circumstances.

I'm sorry, but if 'getting a degree' makes anyone more attractive to employers and opens up higher earnings (bullshit), then why is everyone not 'billed' at the same rate? Everyone can pay it off the same way, after they are earning, after all!
